Surface Pit

Service Description

A Surface Pit is a nick in the glass associated with normal wear and tear that does NOT penetrates deep into the plastic interlayer of the windshield. Great news! If you have a Surface Pit it DOES NOT need to be repaired, your windshield did its job and prevented a chip from forming. Cosmetically it is noticeable but the structure of the glass is still intact and no repair service is needed. I repeat your glass is not chipped, you do not need a Surface Pit repaired.
